Default Formatting Hardisk

I tried to load Windows 98 on my machine and a message
came up ..Windows setup requires 7340032 bytes..then
nothing. What does this mean???

first off, is your drive properly partitioned and formatted

(win98 can be installed on a fat16 or a fat32 partition)


also, if you are using a "simple" bootdisk you also need a memory
manager

you can get a new bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com

or else set your bios to just boot right from the cd
