Default Error 3787: You Must Log on before Performing this Operation

I am trying to connect a Windows 98 machine to a network (small network using
a TRENDnet ethernet switch) but I do not see anything in the "All the
network" (Entire Network). When I select "All the network" I received the
messages: You can't browse the network. You don't have access to the network
If I execute a "net view" command from de command line I received the
message "Error 3787: You Must Log on before Performing this Operation". I
check the 156323 article in the Microsoft Support page but the information do
not help me to solve the problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? and
How can I fix it?

Default Error 3787: You Must Log on before Performing this Operation

Click the Start button, then select Log Off. Log on using a valid username
and password and you should be fine.
