Default strange subnet installed

I put this in the general discussion group earlier, but
got no replies.
My wifes PC has somehow got some unknown to its network.
I found them when checking ZoneAlarms firewall
trusted/internet zone. One is a "PPP adapter", the other
is "Microsoft TV/Video 3.0.0.2/255.255.255.255 adapter
subnet". I cannot find these elsewhere to remove them.
They have been installed recently and my wife, as usuial,
has no clue where they came from or what they are. Does
anyone know? I tried to run trojanscan.com free trojan
scan, but it has locked up twice.

Does anyone have any ideas what this stuff is??

PPP is the computer's dial-up modem. Look in Dial-Up Networking. If
there are any connections that you don't want, delete them and run
Ad-aware and/or Spybot to eliminate whatever created them.

Does the computer have a TV card or USB camera installed? That could
be the TV/Video connection.

Thanks,

We have broadband so I don't know how the dailup modem
was reinstalled. There is no TV card on her PC. I'll shut
down the modem again and try to find the source of the
TV/video adapter.

I removed both of these with no problems. Often run
adaware etc, but none of them detected these. So don't
know if ligit or not---somehow I doubt it. Don't know how
they ever got on in the first place
