can not open windows explorer

When I click on the windows explorer or my computer.

It gives me the message " This program as performed an
illigal function and will be shut down" and then a
different massage" MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER An error
has occured in Internet Explorer. Internet explorer will
now close. If you continue to experience problems, Please
restart your computer"

I have tried this and tried reinstalling windows 98.

Please help

When you get an "illegal operation" error message, click the "Details" button, and
post back with the exact details word for word, up to but not including the memory
registers.

TPS108.DLL is spyware, get rid of it:
