Default Force Feedback Joystick issues with XP

Does anyone know if Microsoft has any adapters or drivers that allow a
gameport Force Feedback Joystick to work with XP? The joystick was originally
made for Windows 98.Thanks

No. Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback game controllers (or any other
Sidewinder game controllers, for that matter) do not have drivers for
any NT-based systems.

The drivers are included in XP... go to the Control Panel, click on Game
Controllers and use the AutoDetect feature.

The profiling facility that used to exist where you could map buttons to
keys for a particular game is no longer supported in XP. It is now done by
the game you are using it with.

Hope this helps.
