Default loss of msworks..

I recently transfered a text file directly from NOTEPAD to
works without opening works. In other words I simply
transfered the desk top icon of the text item directly
over the top of the works Icon.

Now, when attempting to open Works I am told this was not
a valid WIN32 application. Can anyone tell me what
happened and how to fix it.

contact me at above email or on yahoo messenger at
pjkathome, or yahoo email at

Thanks

Can you open WORKS from Start menu / Programs? If so, then delete the
desktop icon and re-create it.

You have an MSWorks icon on the Desktop? R-Clk it, & select Properties.
What do you see? Instead of using that particular icon, can you open
MSWorks from the START button menu?

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
