Unable to register my windows 98
Hi,
How do I register my Windows 98 if I have no Internet connection? I did not recieve a postal registration form when I purchased it. I tried using a computer at a net cafe (right now) but ended up registering it instead in my name (and besides, I believe the software on this computer is pirated.) Anyway, so how do I register my Win 98 SE? Thanks. |

I would expect that when Win98 packages were being bought new they all contained a mail-in card for registration, which was optional, but would get you on MS's mailing list for updates, marketing, whatever. Now that Win98 is not being supported by MS (or not nearly as much, anyway), I doubt that registering would get you much. I wouldn't worry about it. -- Tim Slattery MS MVP(DTS) |
