My PC with WINDOWS 2000 PRO. automatically shuts down.

My PC with WINDOWS 2000 PRO. automatically shuts down. is starting in
normal state but after few seconds it gets shut down with out showing
any error. The shut down way is like normal shut down. it is appearing
that shutting down computer.i started in safe mode but there it is not
having any problem. pls help me to solve the problem.

You probably have a virus and you should post your request for help to a
Windows 2000 help group. This is a Windows Millennium help group, the
two operating systems are like day and night. Is your Windows 2000 a new
installation and did you have a properly configured firewall (or the
post sp4 security package installed) before you connectd it to the
internet?
