Disableing Proxy Settings
I am trying to connect to a Linksys Router on AOL
Broadband. My XP works fine and prior to some problems the Win98 did also. Had to reload everything and now when I try to put AOL back on, the proxy setting is enabled. The Linksys people say I have to disable them for the router to work since aol keeps trying to dial up numbers and I have to be able to select Never Dial A connection in Internet Options Connections. But I cannot highlight anything to do that.. HELP... smile.. |
