Default How to UNINSTALL Win98 so I can use 98 Second Edition

Howdy! Decided to upgrade to SE, but bought a full installation version
instead of upgrade. Prompted that I must have the upgrade version since I
have 98 operating already. Is there anyway I can delete the old 98 and then
fully install 98 SE so I don't have to waste the money I spent on the SE
disc? Any help would be appreciated. Please email any replies at
since this is the email I use more frequently.
Thanks,
Yolanda

You have an OEM disk.

For information on installing W98, go to:

Information on reinstalling or upgrading with an OEM CD:

Sure, it is a simple process.
I assume you are not fussed about any losses on your hard drive
so simply Format the drive then instal win98se.
The best way is to do it via Fdisk/Gdisk as you can also make
changes there regarding partitioning and the like, it is also the
best way for getting a hard disk as clean and ready as possible to
recieve the new Operating System. (naturally there are exceptions, but
for a simple Format and Instal without all the 'technical hoo haa'
you cant go wrong).
Do a google for the correct way to format and also for general
hints on the process.

Mention of Gdisk is moot if the user doesn't have Norton Ghost.
