please don't attach anything except in "binaries" groups - that's just
common courtesy - "netiquette" to the rest of us.

I believe I apologized in advance... The attachments are "Explorer1" &
"Exporer2".
I promise I won't do it again, but I still would like some advice on the
described problem, please.

Not too sure what you are after, but maybe it's this:-

Make a (Desktop) shortcut to Windows Explorer. Then right-click on it and
select Properties.

In the Target box, edit the end of the path to read:-

\explorer.exe /e,

and see if that helps. If so, read also Jack's response to your very first
post.

Thanks to Mart & Jack. That command line stuff is just the ticket.
I have read & bookmarked Jack's helpful pointers- thanks!
