Default ME vs Microsoft 2000

I have heard that converting to Microsoft 2000 from ME
will cause more problems than it's worth?

Any one converted without issues?

Thanks

Win Me cannot be "upgraded" to Win 2000, only to XP. The release of Win
2000 predates that of Win Me and so Win 2000 knows nothing about Win Me.
You would have to clean install Win2000

an Upgrade from Win-ME to W2K may not work (for reasons Joan cited),
though success has been claimed by some.

As to whether it's worth it or not... that's dependent on what kind of
user you a W2K is more tech-friendly and much less user-friendly.
