Win98 on usb hard drive from DOS
If it's an option, the preferable procedure would be to use the existing IDE
disk on a plug in (eg, PCI) controller. Disable the motherboard IDE controller, and the plug-in controller appears to BIOS and Windows as the primary controller, and Windows installs like a standard PC. How i don't know the procedure? Isn't possible i have a notebook, in the bio i can't disble IDE controller? and i don't think is possible install a PCI controller? Is there possible to explain windows what are the right driver like a HD SCSI? rmartin |
