Recover psystray.pyd
How do I recover psystray.pyd in Windows 98SE?
Is there a way to recover any dll file that has been inadvertently deleted? |

It is not a Win98 SE file.
Try reinstalling the application that supplied it. What error message do you get and what are you doing at the time? Recovery of a .dll file depends on where it came from. If it is a Win98 file, then extract it from your CD with SFC. (Start-Run-SFC and extract one file) What has a .dll file go to do with psystray.pyd, which is a .pyd file? ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/index.html In microsoft.public.win98.setup, "rockymtn" wrote: How do I recover psystray.pyd in Windows 98SE? Alan,
I don't have the Win 98 CD. I don't know what application initially loaded the file. The error message I received called it a dll file. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. E.g., quote Startup Control Panel is compatible with all modern versions of Windows, including Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, and XP. /quote You can use also "HijackThis" program, that you can find in ZIP-archive http://files.webattack.com/localdl834/hijackthis.zip -- Mikhail Zhilin http://www.aha.ru/~mwz Sorry, no technical support by e-mail.
