Default Contol logon access -how to?

Hi,

My daughter's running WinME. She has setup a Windows username and password,
but there is nothing to stop her kids from logging on the computer and
playing around with it.

I found that a separate password could be setup and be made mandatory for
continuing after the screen-saver came up, and I think also similarly for
hibernation. But the initial logon screen that comes up with her username
can be dismissed merely by clicking Cancel, at which point the computer is
wide open. How can the password be made mandatory?

On a related note, what Registry setting is available to preclude her
username from being displayed? I presume a username is required in the
initial logon screen, or is access permitted also if the logon dialog with
no username is canceled?

Thanks in advance,
Richard

I like your return address: it beats mine. I may "steal" it :-)

Thank you very much. My daughter and son-in-law will be very appreciative
(after I apply it for them.)

Best wishes,
Richard
