Default Drivers for Diamond Viper 550

I installed Win Me on my PC but I have an old
graphic card: Diamond Viper 550 for Windows 98
which utilizes nVidia's RIVA 128 TNT (nV4) controller.

Please can somebody give me a URL with the correct
drivers for my Diamond Viper card under Win Me?

Thanks

Diamond have a legacy driver for this card on their website. Go he
http://www.diamondmm.com/driversbefore912003.php#viper
Finding this URL took me less than 30 seconds using a Google search for
'Diamond Viper 550 driver'.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it. From the readme file of the
VIPER V550 W9X v4.12.01.0368.exe driver it is not clear that this driver
works with Win Me.
Does anybody use this driver with Win Me?

The driver is for use with Win9x and NT operating systems. Win Me was the
last of the Win9x series of operating systems.

The inf file says :
INF file for NVIDIA Compatible Windows 95/Windows 98 Display and DirectX
Drivers
Copyright 1998-1999 NVIDIA Corporation
Version 2.0
Does not that mean that it is only for Win 95/98?

Have you tried the driver? If it gives problems boot to Safe Mode and
uninstall it. If that fails, and it shouldn't, use system restore to roll
your system back to before you installed the driver. Remember though to
make a manual checkpoint before installing the driver.

Remember that you are wanting to use a video card that well predates the
release of Win Me in June 2006 so you aren't going to see Win Me mentioned
in the inf file or documentation within the driver set.

Alternatively you could try the Win9X Riva 128 driver from Nvidia:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/riva_drivers.html
Note that there are 2 versions, AGP or PCI so make sure you get the right
one for your card.
