Default screen saver

When my computer goes to the screensaver mod, it freezes
up after a short time and the only way to get the computer
to work is to shut it down and restart it. Any ideas?
thank you in advance Bob

Try different screen savers and if all are problematic, you can use power
management to put the monitor in standby instead of having a screen saver
start.
