Default Interesting Poser..... {@shell32.dll,-12688}

I've always wanted to ask this question, so here goes..........
This has nothing to do w/integrity of Windows, etc....
I have a fldr, it's my stuff, I restore it to my D:\ partition or the
partition I'm using for my data shortly after I install Windows.

The fldr icon shows ***correctly*** in web page view, however not in browse
or Explorer view.
In Explorer view this fldr icon shows as a system icon ???

If I just hover my mouse over this icon, view as a web page is turned on, I
see under modified date this
@Shell32.dll,-12688 of course it's the only fldr. on entire system that
seems to
have the additional info.

Ummmm....... the text above turned blue like a hyperlink ?

Obviously, that's the big clue!! Is there an easy fix for this ?

If there is a desktop.ini file in that folder, delete it (or rename it, for a
temporary test). Be sure you have Explorer set to "Show all files".

No other files in that folder? ;-) No folder.htt file, no desktop.ini, no
folder.ini?
Have you tried simply creating a new folder, moving the contents of this folder, and
then deleting the folder?
