==Direct3D is no longer initializing after updating to DirectX 9.0cfrom 9.0b==
==Direct3D is no longer initializing after updating to DirectX 9.0c from
9.0b== [This is has been cross-posted for relevance] After updating DirectX to 9.0c I can no longer access and initialize Direct3D. DirectX Direct3D is not initializing. DxDiag is reporting "Enabled" on everything. Even the nVIDIA GeForce3 card is reporting 2048MB of VRAM when the card actually has 64MB. What is going on here? Updating the video driver from v52.16 to v61.76 does not solve the problem either. Is anyone else having this problem? Using the Windows Reporting Tool captures the system information but fails to actually send to Microsoft. Even DxDiag.exe will Not even work at all. It returns this error output: "DxDiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing Direct3D the last this program was used. Would you like to bypass Direct3D this time? Yes or No" The CRASH output returns: DXDIAG caused an invalid page fault in module unknown at 0000:0000000b.
