It's caused by a driver trying to do something that it shouldn't. Or by
bad hardware.

As to which driver it is, you'll have to trouble-shoot that the hard
way. Can you identify anything that you're doing just before this error
occurs? Does it occur all by itself, while the machine is unattended, or
only when you're active? Might try a "Clean Boot" startup (link in my
signature.) You should physically disconnect your system from the
internet before running these tests (pull the telephone, USB or LAN wire
from its jack.) You'll be without antivirus or firewall protection. If
the error still occurs, and you still can't peg down just what you're
doing, if anything, to cause it, it's time to disconnect all peripherals
and test again. And so forth, removing hardware until you're down to
bare bones--video, keyboard and hard drive. With any luck, you can
identify the problem before then, because after that it gets really
difficult to figure out without costing money. (Have to swap parts.) Or,
you could to take it to a pro.
