Closing down Windows

When I try to close down windows 98, I get a pop up window
stating:
SUCHOSTP
You must quit this program before you quit windows.

I don't know what this program is?
Please help to eliminate this.

At this stage, all I can determine is that it is a virus.
Is your virus scanner up to date?

The least you can do at this stage is stop it from starting.
Check in Msconfig for any oddities.
(Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab)
If you cannot see anything in Msconfig then:

Start-Run-msinfo32
Click the + beside Software Environment to expand.
Click Startup Programs
Ctrl+A to Select All, Ctrl+C to Copy.
Paste that information in your message.
