Java 2 SE, v1.2 & v1.3 vs Microsoft VM
Java 2 SE, v1.2 & v1.3 vs. Microsoft VM: is there a difference between the
two besides an obvious version date? Does the Sun product replace the MVM? I have the Java Web Start console on my desktop. There are three Java entries in IE Tools/Internet Options/Advanced; should they be checked or unchecked with this updated Java product? Or is the new Java version only for developers? If so, I'm not one and have no need for this program. Are both equally functional for surfers? Thanks for clarifying this. Bob |
