i purchased my computer at a hospital auction. i wanted to
delete the icon"nieghborhood network" from my desktop
because i have no use for it, but when i right-click on
it, there is no delete option...there is, however, an
option to "disconnect neighborhood network"...will this
delete the icon and is there somewhere else in my system i
should go to remove this program? Thanks in advance...Deb

Removing NN will most likely remove any internet access as well. IIRC it is placed
on the desktop when a Modem/NIC is installed. If you want to hide it, use TweakUI. I
don't use it but many others do that can help if you have questions about it.
