Default Brightness

I can't change the brightness of my screen. I need more light to read DVDs
and pictures. It used to be easy with Windows 98: go to control panel and
access the brightness button. Does anyone know hoe to do that with XP?
Thank you for your help.

Default Brightness

Sophie,

Normally screen brightness is adjusted using the controls
on the monitor itself.

Thank you, but then I'll need help to adjust it because I have not been able
to, even though I tried! I have a samsung Syncmaster 955df.
Thank you very much for your help.

Look through the game options for a setting called 'Gamma'. This is another
term for brightness.
