Default screen/font display

Recently there was a power outage in my city and when it
was recovered and i turned on my computer, the screen
display area was very large compared to before. I have
used the tools option to change the text size, etc. this
text size is okay, but the area that i look at is much too
large...thus making it impossible to play some online
games, eg. euchre, as i can only see a bit of the area
that i am in, much enlarged, so it makes it a nuisance as
i can't see the other players, and cannot see the chat bar
at all!!...please advise if you have any suggestions other
then using the right click on properties, and tools tab
options that i've already tried. Thanx!!...even typing
this i had to keep moving the screen back and forth to see
the end of the line that i'm typing to see it....lol

Hi Shirley,

Go to Control Panel - Display - Settings, and adjust
the "Screen area" to the desired resolution.
