win'98 wireless network is not working
I made the mistake of creating an xp network floppy and installing it
in a working win'98 wireless network to add an xp laptop. How do I restore the win'98 files that the xp network floppy overwrote? Thanks |

win'98 wireless network is not working
If you haven't got a backup of the system, I would identify the file names of
the files on the floppy, locate them on the Win98 PC, delete them and see what happens. With a bit of luck no files will have been overwritten. If that doesn't work, then reinstall Win98 over itself. win'98 wireless network is not working
The files are on the xp netsetup floppy in netsetup.exe & I don't know what
the names are. I tried searching by date, but it was no help. I'm trying to avoid re-installing win'98. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.
