Default Folder Options

When configuring folders (specifically, changing from the default "Large Icons" to anything else) and then clicking "Like Current Folder" on the "View" tab of "Folder Options", some folders will display accordingly -- but most in deeper layers do not. I still have to manually configure the options of those and any newly created folders as well. Am I missing something?

Same with later Versions of OS.

Guess some of the "Explorer Team" have jumped ship.

Even when communicated to upper echelon, don't expect
not having to buy 2 or more OS generations on top of XP.
