Windows Millennium Books
Hello. Since getting a new PC with XP Pro I'm left with
five books on Windows Me, valued at over $100.00 I DON'T want to have to just trash them! I love books and just can't bear to do that. So all I know to do it to see if someone would like to buy them from me. They are just like new and I'd be happy to send them to you. I would gladly take $25.00 for all of them plus you'd need to pay the s/h. All in all you'd probably spend about $30. Needless to say....if you're new to 'Me' these would be VERY helpful to you! Please let me know if you or someone you know might be interested. You may email me at (please use your 'high priority' mark when emailing me so as to set your email apart from junk mail!). Jo |

Since there's been no response on my topic yet I thought I'd add a few details. It won't be long before I'll just either toss these 5 books or give them to the library, etc. But just in case someone's interested here's the titles and what was paid for each: Hmm...there's actually 4 books when I think about it. One 'book' is the 'Quick Start Guide' that came Me. Now the BOOKS are as follows: Windows Me Simplified..225 pages.......$27.99 Using Windows Me Special Edition..821 pages.....$23.99 Windows Me for Dummies..386 pages.....$21.99 Windows Me Annoyances..451 pages.....$29.95 There you go. Like I said $25.00 is a GREAT price for them. I'll have to get rid of them soon as I need the space, so don't delay if you are interested. Jo ;o) -----Original Message----- Hello. Jo,
You may find it necessary to give some idea of what part of the world you are in. e.g. if I wanted them, and you happen to be in Tasmania, the freight would be reasonable but if you lived in Sydney or Melbourne, the freight would be high. If you were anywhere else in the world, it would be prohibitive. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/index.html In microsoft.public.windowsme.new-user, "GrammyJo" wrote: Since there's been no response on my topic yet I thought I'd add a few details. Alan, You make a good point there, one I hadn't thought about. I live in the USA in the state of Illinois. Thanks for the advice. Hi,
Nice catalogue - nice prices too. Have you thought of selling them on eBay? You could get an idea of what they'd go for if you search on their titles in eBay (and other auctions) beforehand, and see what similar items are going for. Good luck - Philip "Jack E Martinelli" wrote in message ... We live in a very large world, but on a rather small planet. The greatest barriers are in our minds. -- Jack E.
