error msg- the supplied buffer is not valid for the requested operation

does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I am trying
to use my video cam. I have used it before but now it
will not workand when I click on the camera I get the msg:
digital camera not fuctioning properly. the supplied
buffer not valid for the requested operation. thanks
