Problems with Defrag
Defrag never moves and it just stops on checking driver for
errors. What could be wrong with it? Thanks |

Before running Defrag:
1. Run Scandisk 2. CTRL+ALT+DEL Close everything except (Windows) Explorer. 3. Do *nothing* with the machine and allow Defrag to run to completion. If it's been a long time since you last defragged or if you've never done it, expect the session to take many, many hours. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE), AH-VSOP Are You Ready for WinXP SP2? http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...t/default.aspx WinXP SP2 Release Notes http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;835935 AumHa Forums http://forum.aumha.org wrote: Defrag never moves and it just stops on checking driver for errors.
