A-squared
I seem to recall some criticism about a-squared, but don't remember what the
details were. The reason for this post: Mine isn't giving me any trouble at all. After the last update it didn't find any malware on my pc, as it didn't on the previous scan either. Before that I let it fix everything it found and there were no problems afterwards. Therefore I would like to confirm/dispel my opinion of a-squared being a positive addition to my pc's protection. It was flagging my ISP as a trojan.......now is that stupid or not?? I
wrote them several times and they would not acknowledge it or fix it, so I dumped it. So I had my own good reasons.....if you find it works for you, all well and good. Didn't for me. Apparently the author does not respond well to criticism. That's obvious! HF "webster72n" wrote in message ... That's only 'one' good reason, Heather and not enough to condemn the entire program, because you don't have to delete what you don't want to, am I right? On the other hand, you are "the boss", in determining what to run on your pc and what not. Harry. "Heather" wrote in message ... It was flagging my ISP as a trojan.......now is that stupid or not?? ...then again, you could just get 'b-squared plus c-squared' and have the
same thing. Heirloom, old and Pythagoras was cool "webster72n" wrote in message ... If it is going to screw up and call my ISP a trojan, why on earth would
I trust it to find a real one???? It also said my Limewire program was "suspicious"....the author needs to learn how to program it. Btw....it didn't say Bell Sympatico was a trojan, but named 4 executables in a folder as being trojans.....however, THEY were part of Net Assistant (for my ISP). But it did tell me a cookie from Bell Sympatico was a tracking cookie....duh!! So are my banking ones. No thanks.....if you want to run it, fine. I don't run programs that false flag. Not quite, H: It's a-squared plus b-squared equals c-squared and that would be "the same thing" as a (w)hole on either side bg. Harry. How did it come to this???
