Default Re-installing Win98 from different CD

Sorry, I haven't posted until now, but I do my webbing at
the local library and I don't have a whole lot of time to
get on-line. So I can't run the 9x productkey saver at
home. Thanks for your help, Bert and "hawk".
I'm not sure on the questions, I'd have to go home and
check....

Hi Jason,

Go to VBScript Tools by Bill James and download the

Windows
9x ProductKey Saver utility, and run it. This will show

the product
key for that system. http://www.billsway.com/vbspage/

Now is the Win98 disk you have in hand a retail or OEM

copy?
And does the product key from the system have an OEM in

it?

I have 2 computers and both have Win 98 installed on
them. One computer has all the original software that
came with the computer, but the other someone gave to me
and has hardly any of the hardcopies of the software

with
it. It had Win95 installed, but then got upgraded to
Win98. I no longer have the Windows 95 CD, but I was
wondering how ethical and legal it would be to re-

install
Windows 98 using the CD that came with my first

computer.
Does this make sense?
