Default reinstall the burner drive??

How do I uninstall the burner drive in the Windows Device
Manager to get Windows to reinstall it?
any help is greatly appreciated.

Default reinstall the burner drive??

Boot to Safe Mode, open the Device Manager and delete any entries relating to
your CD burner. Reboot to Normal Mode and let Win Me redetect your burner and
install the necessary drivers. Note that this will not reinstall your CD
burning software, just the CD driver which is the same whether the drive is a
burner or not.
