Shouldn't this work as in XP ?

You can't unless you want to start manually editing the registry. The MS Java VM is automatically installed as part of the Win Me operating system. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP |

I'm not clear why you wish to remove this built in component however why
not go ahead and try it but remember if you have problems you're on your own. That command should work but unless you install the Sun JavaVM you could find your browsing somewhat limited. Just make sure you create a system restore checkpoint before running the command just in case you have problems and need to roll back your system. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Lando wrote: Shouldn't this work as in XP ?
