Default "clipboard" ; where went ye?

I'm sure Brian A. left out a permutation or two! (I will look them up
only upon request.) If you get to method #99 without success...

"START, Run, MSInfo32, Tools menu, IE Repair Tool"

It produces a rather large "Fix IE Log.txt" in C:\Windows. IE & E
are basically one & the same. If this crashes, an over-install of IE is
indicated.

What does repairing/reinstalling IE have to do with the reinstallation of a system
that is now missing Excel and Spellcheck in OE which so far are the only 2 issues
mentioned. The OP was given the machine with an OEM Windows OS and apparently has
reinstalled which does not include any Office apps nor does OE have spellcheck. An IE
repair/reinstall will never correct these issues.

PCR et al.,
It's all Au to me. I don't have "Computer Essentials"
on my unit, so Brian's "permutations" and your "IE Repair
Tool" references are as 'arcana imperii' to spinach heads
like me.

Much thanks,

| I guess you are right, when you put it that way. I was just thinking
it
| could have to do with "Copy/Paste" generically. Are you SURE you
haven't
| left one/two methods out!?

| | What does repairing/reinstalling IE have to do with the
reinstallation
| of a system
| | that is now missing Excel and Spellcheck in OE which so far are
the
| only 2 issues
| | mentioned. The OP was given the machine with an OEM Windows OS and
| apparently has
| | reinstalled which does not include any Office apps nor does OE
have
| spellcheck. An IE
| | repair/reinstall will never correct these issues.
