Forgot about that one. Both RWIN and MTU are optimized for dial-up
connections in Windows ME. BroadBandReports has some tools to manage
optimzization of each for HSI connections. IIRC, my RWIN is about the same
as yours. If your DSL requires PPPoE, MTU has to be lowered from 1500; I am
using 1492, but others have had to go lower. I don't know if the same
applies for PPPoA. I think that DSL users who don't need PPPoE can go with
the MTU at 1500. Not sure really, though.
