Yes, Gary, I have installed Everest from a CD onto my computer and
what I meant to say about the video driver is that I was trying to get AOL
free trial through my modem, just so I could get Microsoft updates and USB
drivers and AOL wouldn't install because of only 16 colors instead of 256. I
am trying to locate these drivers. I know the manufacturer of the USB one
(Elpina), but I have to find out about the video card one now. Would this

I would recommend against installing AOL unless you intend to commit
yourself to using AOL. Better option would be a simple, plain vanilla ISP
like Earthlink. Even with the plain vanilla ISP, do not install their
software. It's not necessary. All you want is a phone number, your username
and password. If you need more than that to set up a simple internet
connection, you want a different ISP.
