When the computer boots up, I get the following message:

"Display
There is a problem with your display settings. The adapter type is
wrong, or the current settings do not work with your hardware."

I tried the steps in Jeff Richrard's reply above, and Windows said I
already had the best driver. I know the file is in my system or on the
Windows 98 SE CD, because the display was working just earlier today.

My monitor is a KDS SVGA 15", and my video card is an S3
