Not enough info. What happened to the small drive--is it no longer being
used? This is important because some hard drives have two master
settings--one for when it is the sole drive and another when it is being
used with another hard drive.

I had a computer where 98 was installed on a small hard drive, and was
using the bigger hard drive for files. I had to reinstall 98, and
decided to move everything to the bigger hard drive. I backed up my
files, then opened up the computer, disconnected the power and data
cable from the small hard drive, and changed the jumper settings on the
big hard drive to what the sticker on the hard drive said was "Master."
I plugged the computer in, it booted on it's own, but nothing, not
even an error message came up on the screen. I tried not havingn a

computer, although some plires got a little ways down the heat sink,
but I stopped them before they touched the processer. I was not
grounded, but did not feel any static electricty. It seems weird that
