May I suggest you post this to either the
microsoft.public.windowsme.multimedia or better the
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player newsgroup where you are more likely to
find someone able to help as a couple of Microsoft staffers regularly read
those newsgroups. When doing so please remember to include full details of
the version of WMP you are using when you see this error and the type and
preferably also codec used of the file you are trying to play when you see
this error.
