Ok, I found the problem and found that I lied before.
I also installed another 512MB PC2700 DDR (in addition to the 512MB 3200 DDR
already installed).
Doing that drove my video synch rate out of wack, and could be seen on boot
up!
When I removed the newly installed second RAM card, my video card worked
again.
Any suggestions on how to have my 1GB RAM and use it too?
I tried updating the video drivers www.s3graphics.com, but that did not do
it. The next update listed is for WinXP, and does not install under ME.

I have WinME with a EliteGroup ECS K7VMM+ motherboard
with S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR graphics chips.
When I changed my hard drives around, it seems as if the graphics drivers
revert to the default settings, giving me 256 colors and 640x480
resoluition.
I reset my settings to 16 million colors and 1024 x 768, but doing so

causes
my computer to not display the image on my monitor (ViewSonic 770).
This was working fine before, but not anymore, even after configuring
everything back to the original configuration. I think the problem is

with
the plug-n-play config.
Any suggestions.
