Default BTBroagband and WinMe

OK, thanks..........I think I was asking them if this machine was in the
shop, could I hook up WinME to the cable modem. But I now have the router
on here sorta permanently, so I guess I could plug the old one into it. I
believe I did that before. May just give that a shot.

Cheers, from freezing cold Ontario.

Heather,

Apples, pears and oranges are very different fruits. You would have had
zero problems connecting your Win Me box to Rogers cable if you were to
have used a router or hub. Any problems you had would have been due to
connecting the cable modem directly to your Win Me PC.

A very *blonde* answer here, but I know for a fact that I cannot hook
up my WinME to my Rogers cable at all. That is according to the
techs at my ISP. Guess it is too fast or summat. It is now a very
large paperweight, but may double check it before chucking it down to
the basement.
Heather (and Mike or Noel should be able to sort this out)
