Okay, guys,

I will try it again. Joe, I thought I was looking for bitmap files, not
system files so when I did not find the *.bmp file, I proceeded no further.
I will start by getting the irfanview graphic program and proceed from there.

settings control panel appearance desktop, check the settings of 'custom
colors' under the drop down for desktop colors, check also that color depth
