i have the latest drivers and it installed just fine
there is not a problem in the installation and i know how to change
refresh rate but there is a known problem in ati radeon drivers series
when i change the refresh rate there is no effect
I know the problem in the driver
It is working fine just in ddc monitor
there is a way to chang something in the registry I did it once
but i forget it

Try posting in the ATI newsgroup alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati
Recheck to make sure your monitor is being recognized properly, or just
reinstall its drivers.
Sometimes when installing new video drivers, the monitor gets recognized as
a Plug & Play instead of what it really is.
Others find that the Catylst 3.7 or the 3.8 drivers work the best for that
card.
Just remembered, I believe that DDC Test also tells you what monitor you
have.
You may have to reinstall older drivers or ask your question in the ATI ng I
pointed above.
Rage3d.com also has some great info on Radeons and their problems and
solutions.
Cheers.
