Display problem on my new monitor
I bought my new monitor, but just having a problem when PLAYING and STOP movie!
the whole screen's gone black 1sec, then returned to normal, I have already adjusted the Parameters setting as well, ex: screen resolution setting "1024x768" Colors setting: True Color (32 bits) Refresh frequency: 60 Hertz. And I also reinstalled the driver, but the problem is still existed!! Is there anything I can do to fix it?? Thanks |

Reboot to Safe Mode
Open Device Manager Remove ALL Display Adapters Remove ALL Monitors Reboot to Normal Mode - Windows will reinstall the required drivers - hopefully curing your problem. If not, you may need to update your Graphics card drivers - or your card itself. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "as_ca06" wrote in message ... You may be seeing the display blanking that occurs when a monitor changes
mode. Your previous monitor might not have blanked the screen, so you saw a jumbled or garbage picture during that 1 sec it takes to switch. There's probably no way to make the new screen behave like the old one did. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "as_ca06" wrote in message ... I have a question, if I remove all my display adapters,
do I need to have a manufactory CD in case to reinstall its drive? From your description, I don't think it's happening when you are playing a
movie. I think it happens when you start to play a movie and when you stop playing a movie. These are the points at which the system changes the display mode. If it happens during a movie then you have a fault in the monitor or a problem with the display adapter. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "as_ca06" wrote in message ...
