DVD player
 

I have Win '98...am no longer able to play DVD's. It was
there when I had Win '95...is there a download? Or do I
need to buy something? I'm pretty computer "dumb" so, I
need a good/easy explanation. Thanks! Granny

What program did you use in Win95 to play the DVD? I wonder if it was
Media Player, with the proper codecs(?), and for some reason, those codecs
weren't installed in your current Win98 installation. (I'm just guessing at
this point)

Is 98 on the same machine as 95 was? Did you upgrade to 98 or clean install? Have
you checked to see if the DVD software is installed? If not, reinstall the software
for it from the disk provided with the DVD player or check the manufacturers site for
a download of it.
