Perpetual Standby; No Boot
Hey,
I've got a Win98 machine that went on Standby one night and hasn't come off. Nothing will make it wake up. It doesn't respond to the keyboard (ie, Ctrl + Alt + Del). I kill the power and unplug it, plug it back in, and still it will not boot. It simply appears to be on standby-- the monitor turns off and blinks and the CPU LED turns orange, indicating its on standby. I have no way of accessing Windows or even the CMOS or BIOS. Any thoughts? |
