Microsolf Word - freezes when starting up and shutting down
 

My computer program when using microsoft word 2000 won't
open it just stays frozen at the beginning window. Prior
to this the computer would freeze sometimes when shutting
down word. Does anyone out there have any solutions for
me.

Standard cure is to uninstal then reinstal the app.
Have you tried that?
You will get better advice in a MS Word2k NG.

That same used to happen to me, then I went to
http://office.microsoft.com/ProductUpdates/default.aspx

and downloaded some 66 megabytes of Office 2000 update
files and applied. End of troubles.
