dual image on log-on and desktop
 

need help on display problem
when starting up my computer, the log-on screen is
shown with a dual image so i see to log-on dialog boxes.
i need to click the right-hand to log-on. then the desktop
screen appears, it is also a dual image and will stay that
way until i click on to a program. i'm running 98se and
my display adapter is nvidia vanta/vanta lt. i'm not
getting any hardware conflicts with the display. i'm not
running multiple monitors. how do i correct this?
