I have no sound after having my computer upgraded to 98. It shows that its playing but can't be heard. All drivers are installed and it the volume control program shows up as installed. Also when I click on volume control nothing happens.

In addition, the Speaker icon does not appear on the taskbar and it is greyed out in Multimedia...

When I installed Creative Sound Blaster software using Windows 2000, all Windows 2000 update and service pack icons in Add/Remove Programs in the control panel are changed to Sound Blaster registration icons. Why does it do this?? How can I keep this from happening? Thanks, Kevin
